Breckenridge Oktoberfest is a free, three-day street festival on Main Street in this Colorado mountain town. The 2026 edition was the 30th annual and ran September 25–27.
2026 Schedule
- Friday, Sept 25: 2:00–6:00 pm
- Saturday, Sept 26: 11:00 am–6:00 pm (Oktoberfest 5K starts at 10 am)
- Sunday, Sept 27: 11:00 am–5:00 pm
- Stein hoisting contests run each afternoon (Fri 4:30, Sat 3:30, Sun 2:30). A Kid Zone is at the south end of Main Street.
Dates and times are weather dependent. 2027 dates had not been announced at the time of writing; the festival has historically been held in late September, so check the Go Breck site in the spring.
What to Expect
Expect Main Street closed to traffic, local and regional breweries pouring, German food, live music and contests. There is also a Bavarian-inspired beer garden on Washington Avenue.
Getting There
Breckenridge is about 80 miles west of Denver. Main Street is walkable and the free town shuttle is the easiest way to avoid parking problems.
